Malcolm X Library Performing Arts Center
San Diego, California
Wednesday, 29 May 2013 - 6:30 PM
This spring, Art of Élan continues to push the boundaries of classical music by bringing its exciting and innovative one-hour concerts to the Valencia Park and Emerald Hills communities. The diverse musical performance will include highlights from recent Art of Élan seasons, including works by Ginastera, Venezuelan flutist/composer Marco Granados, Mexican composer Arturo Marquez, and the exciting young New York composer LJOVA, who premiered his "Songs of Bert Meyers" on the recent Art of Élan concert at The San Diego Museum of Art.

The concert is FREE to the public, thanks in part to a Community Enhancement grant from the County of San Diego at the recommendation of Supervisor Ron Roberts.

The Valencia Park/Malcolm X Library is located at 5148 Market St. San Diego, CA 92114.
